Thank you for your interest in joining Huyton and Prescot Golf Club. Below are our Membership Options. We are fortunate enough to offer access to incredible facilities including our course, clubhouse and practice facilities but also access to many other clubs through our courtesy arrangements – all of which is detailed below. Please note – we have a limited number of Full Memberships available – Upon returning the completed application form, suitable applicants will be invited along for an interview and informal chat with the Club Captain/Lady Captain or Chair of Selection who will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

We are a small but friendly section and we have a beautiful parkland course which is enjoyable but challenging. Ladies day is every Tuesday and after we play we meet in the dining room for lunch to meet the house ladies and have chat and catch up together. Every Thursday we have the Brunch Club where we meet for 09.15 have a draw and play 9 holes followed by lunch. We have 7 major competitions throughout the year and medals throughout the season. Usually played on a Tuesday and Saturday. We enjoy a packed social calendar which we encourage all ladies to attend. We would like to recruit new members so if you wish to attend our taster sessions please email secretary@huytonandprescotgolf.co.uk.

We have a thriving Junior membership which offers a safe and secure environment to learn about this great sport. Our aim is to get our Junior members game built on a good foundation so they can progress and enjoying the game. We have outdoor facilities include nets, putting green, chipping green and short game practice area to hone their skills and once their ready a stunning, tight, yet short 18-hole golf course to test their newfound abilities. Golf encourages the development of important personal and life skills, including co-operation, concentration, self-motivation and respect. Rules and etiquette are a vital part of the culture and golf is a sport that can be enjoyed by both boys and girls, regardless of age and ability.
As well as full access to our facilities our Junior members can compete in our weekly yellow tee comps throughout the season which include nearest the pin & longest drive – only £3.00 to enter.

Our social membership package is specifically designed for non golfers, who wish to utilise the clubs great bar and dining facilities and be part of a thriving social scene. Benefits of the a social membership are as follows – Full use of the private members lounge, clubs restaurant and bar facilities, private snooker room with 2 tournament standard snooker tables, Sky TV and BT Sport to view all major sporting events on our large 75 inch TV and access to all clubs functions and social events. You will be provided with a club membership card that can be used in the bar and the restaurant for members discount prizes.

Country Membership is available to those who’s permanent residence is at least 30 miles radius from the club, are a member of another club and still want to have access to our club and facilities.

Huyton and Prescot are proud members of the 1905 club and due to this we get to enjoy the reciprocal playing arrangements with over 30 clubs in UK – as a member you can enjoy this too. MEMBERSHIP FAQ's
"DO I HAVE TO HAVE A REGISTERED HANDICAP TO JOIN?"
No. If you do currently hold an up to date handicap certificate we would ask you to send a copy along with your application. Applicants without a handicap will be required to see a council member for assessment of their playing ability this may involve playing a number of golf holes with the council member.
"WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW A MEMBER TO PROPOSE OR SECOND MY APPLICATION?"
If you know a current H&P Member who is happy to support your application, please get him/her to endorse the form accordingly. If you do not know a H&P member or belong to another golf club at present, please don’t worry as each application is reviewed on its own merit.
"HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT TO BE INVITED FOR AN INTERVIEW?"
This varies depending on the number waiting to join the club. We do try to see prospective members in the month following their application but processing may be done much quicker if we have a lesser number applying.
"WHEN CAN I JOIN?"
Successful applicants will be invited to join from the 1st day of the month following their interview, or at a later date to suit their own situation. Pro rata payments are to be paid for new members joining through the course of the calendar year.
